If the heart of a person reflects his Li-xing, 14 it displays his True Nature.
If his heart reflects his Qi-xing, 14 it displays his Human Nature.
If his heart reflects his Zhi-xing, 14 it displays his Animal Nature.
The True Nature is in the domain of Li-tien 9, 11 and it is all good.
The Human Nature is in the domain of Qi-tien, 9, 12 and it can be either good or evil.

Whether the human character is good or evil depends on which one of the Li-xing, Qi-xing, and Zhi-xing 14 dominates.
The Li-xing is the essence of Tao as well as the soul of a human. It is all good and has no evil.

Human beings come from Heaven. (Heaven is used by Confucianism to represent Tao.) Since Heaven consists of Li-tien9, 11, Qi-tien 9, 12, and Xiang-tien9, 13, so human beings possess the Li-xing, Qi-xing, and Zhi-xing 14 too.
Yin and yang evolve from Tai-ji. Yin and yang then evolve the four seasons, eight Solar Periods,* twenty-four Seasonal Periods, seventy-two Proper Periods, and three-hundred sixty degrees.

A human is born by comprising the essence of the three Heavens (Li-tien, 9, 11Qi-tien, 9, 12 and Xiang-tien 9, 13) and the complete Qi of the five fundamental elements. The eternal and perfect True Self is nurtured by the Qi of the five fundamental elements in Xian-tien. 10
When combined with a fertilized egg, the True Self becomes the soul and develops inside the mother’s womb to give life. Therefore, the soul possesses the complete benevolence, justice, propriety, wisdom, and faith of Tao. The soul is not born nor does it vanish. Continue reading “12.
